CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and IRS Enrolled Agent (EA)

I chose the name "Soaring Wealth" because I love the image of a bird high in the sky, riding the wind, and believe that mastering your finances and harnessing them to support your dreams should similarly provide that level of confidence, perspective, and freedom.

Raison d’être

I founded Soaring Wealth LLC so that I could provide comprehensive financial planning, portfolio management, and tax consulting services in a seamlessly-integrated manner.  I also specialize in cross-border financial planning.

Before launching Soaring Wealth, I worked for a Big Four accounting firm for over nine years in San Francisco, Boston, and Zürich, Switzerland, providing tax services to both corporate global mobility programs around the world and private clients throughout the United States and Europe.  My time working with cross-border executives – and living overseas myself – highlighted the numerous financial and tax pitfalls that individuals in such situations run into.

After witnessing such complexity first hand, the dream of providing comprehensive financial planning became more urgent for me once I returned to the US.  At that point, I left PwC to join a local RIA where I held the role of Tax and Financial Planning Manager for almost two years, providing integrated planning, investment and tax services.  But I quickly realized that I would need to set up my own firm in order to fully utilize my experience as a CFP® with cross-border expertise and provide the kind of comprehensive services that so many individuals need.

Hobbies

When I'm not working with clients, I'm likely spending time with my “almost 12-year-old” son, Henry, and our two cats, Bernie and Calvin.  I also practice meditation and yoga and enjoy swimming, skiing, hiking and running.
